Quality
Does it make a difference to you that the sky is blue, lips are painted crimson and the grass is green? Would you take something different wrapped up in a package call art? It is Red; I war with art but make my peace with artists.
Why I shoot now
About 6 months ago a friend of mine passed away suddenly and they were very supportive of my work. I was shooting with a Canon 10D at the time even though I could shoot auto, I couldn’t give up my roots. Years of running down to Fotomat hoping you did it right, days spent pushing film shot at 800 to 1000 to get a little more out of it. “Doing it the manual way makes it easy for me today”.
Anyway I was asked to shoot a memorial to her life and I knew that the 10D would not cut it. I also felt I didn’t have the skill really to pull it off. I rented the best I could and shot away, I did about 400+ pictures that night. I was emotionally spent afterward. I realized I can’t wait any longer I just have to let it CliQ. Shoot the picture capture the moment and be there. I’ll post the stuff I get feel free to comment.
